Welcome to Crackington Class!

We've got another very exciting half-term coming up! Our topic this term is Sow, Grow and Farm, which includes a geographical investigation into land use in the UK, a scientific study of plants, a look at the role of the allotment throughout British history and an art focus on 'still life'....... as well as plenty of planting in our school gardens!!

In English we're continuing to develop our 'sentence stacking' skills, initially by creating speeches on refugees. In Maths, we're finishing off our multiplication and division learning before moving onto fractions.

Our PE session is on a Thursday afternoon, so please wear your PE kit into school on that day. Reading and times tables home learning is given every Monday - your child will be tested on their tables that Friday and I will collect in the reading home learning the following Monday. I've also attached some further info about our Sow, Grow and Farm topic, plus some optional home learning activities you could complete on the topic.

I'm sure we have a fantastic term ahead of us! As usual, if you have any questions at all, please just send a message to school and I'll get back to you ASAP.
