Summer is here!
A short term but no less busy.
Maths this term will see the usual practise of times tables and number bonds. Our maths will also see us looking at multiplying 1 digit by 2 digit numbers and also fractions.
This week in our English we have started the wonderful Cornish story of 'The Mousehole Cat'. We will use this fantastic tale to further improve writing skills.
Our overall topic is the Romans in the hope we will all find out, 'What have the Romans done for us?'
In science we will be investigating and developing our understanding of light.
In a weeks time we will be welcoming Daya who will be running workshops throughout Thursday 9th May to build all our understanding of Sikhism.
A short term, but as always a very busy one.
A big shout out asking for your support for your child's reading. Just a little every day is so beneficial. Remember, for a change use Oxford Owl for a bit of variety. Log-in details at the front of reading records.
On Wednesday, year 3 and 4 had a fun, festive time at Budehaven multi-skills festival. The children really enjoyed all sorts of Christmas based sporting games with Budehaven sports leaders leading them! A great time was had by all!
